This policy explains how SMASHED HQ collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use smashedhq.ca, contact us, or purchase merchandise.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, account information, messages you send us, and technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and site activity.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website and cart, process and support orders, arrange fulfillment and shipping, respond to messages and catering requests, prevent fraud and abuse, keep business records, improve the site, and meet legal obligations.

Who receives information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run the business. These may include our web host, WooCommerce, the payment provider displayed at checkout, Printful and its delivery partners, email providers, analytics or security services, and professional advisers. Order information shared with Printful can include your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and ordered products so your merchandise can be produced and delivered.

Payments

Payment information is submitted to the payment provider shown at checkout. SMASHED HQ does not store your full card number or card security code in WordPress.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses essential cookies and similar technologies to remember cart contents, maintain sessions, support account login, and protect the checkout. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should only be enabled in accordance with the consent choices presented on the site.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order support, accounting, tax, dispute, security, and legal requirements. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online system is completely risk-free.

International processing

Some service providers, including fulfillment and technology providers, may process information outside British Columbia or Canada. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access or correct your personal information or ask questions about how it is handled. You may also request deletion where it is not required for an order, legal record, security purpose, or other permitted reason. Submit a request through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or service providers change. The latest version will be posted here with a revised date.
